I was born in Cordoba, Argentina, in 1959 and was active in art from my early childhood, including starting to study piano at age five. My high school interest in mathematics carried into my studies at University where she majored in it for three years. Even though I had an intense interest in the subject I left the idea of having a career in it. But my studies in math have always given me a logical way of looking at things in the world and have had a direct influence on my artwork.
In 1983 a painter friend invited me to an outdoors painting session, where I watched for the first time a painter begin a work with a blank canvas and work on it through completion. For me, it was a magical process. A few days later I began my own work, and continued working until 1991 as a self-taught artist. It was that year that I entered the Art School of Universidad Nacional de Cordoba and got my B.A. degree in 1997.
Since 1995 I have exhibited in Argentina as well as internationally. My works are in private collections of Argentina, Colombia, Costa Rica, Paraguay, U.S., Spain, Germany, Republic of Ireland and Serbia.
